why go organic?

While our cattle are getting all the benefits of being grass fed, being organic means they also avoid the negative impact of herbicides, pesticides, genetically modified crops, hormones, antibiotics etc.

From the seeds to plant the grasses to the lime and manure used to fertilize our pastures, all our inputs are organic.  Our certifying body is Pennsylvania Certified Organic.  We welcome PCO onto our farm every year for a thorough inspection of our farm and our meticulous records.
